Executive Coaching

Coaching provides a powerful framework to integrate new habits, gain clarity and purpose and embed leadership skills,
positive paradigms and behaviours into daily life - so that people operate at a consistently higher level.

Our Approach to Coaching

  • Coaching is geared entirely to the needs of the individual- clients themselves determine what they want to achieve through the process.
  • FranklinCovey coaching can be particularly effective as a follow-up to a learning programme, making it faster and easier to apply what is learnt to personal andprofessional arenas.
  • Coaching works best as a finite process with a defined timeframe and clear objectives.
  • However, FCSA coaching adheres to the principles on which all our work is based, and coaches work with the concepts and ideas used in our other programmes, to help embed the learning they bring.
  • Coaching can be put in place either as an integral part of a process which starts with a learning solution (such as The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People), or as separate programme at any stage.
  • An agreement is made to meet 1 to 1 on a regular basis (either face-to-face or via telephone) to discuss development plan implementation, behaviours and strategies for going forward, etc.
  • A typical programme would be 12 x 2 hour sessions with e-mail support over a six month period.
  • The personal coaching relationship will typically last for 6 months to 12 months as this provides enough time for meaningful change.
  • The programme is designed to suit the client’s needs, so frequency and duration of sessions would be reviewed as progress is made.
  • Before the first session, a preparatory questionnaire is completed to give the coach an initial understanding of the aims and objectives.
  • So that both Clients and Coach can maximise coaching time available, Coaching reports are issued after each session and actions are continuosly tracked and monitored
  • What is discussed during is completely confidential between the client and the coach. Care is taken to ensure a good fit and an effective working relationship between coach and client.
