Position details:

Objective: To achieve annual revenue and sales targets by signing on multiple sales contracts and managing the accounts of key clients / fortune 1000 clients.

Job Responsibilities:

·       Prospecting for new business opportunities in target large-sized accounts in the South African region in all sectors i.e. private sector, government, energy, telecommunications, finance, hospitality and pharmaceuticals

·       Research, identification, opportunity qualification and initiating contact with key decision-makers

·       Consultative approach to diagnosing and assessing client needs, and determining the best FranklinCovey solution to address those needs and exceed customer expectations

·       Presenting solutions to clients in a compelling way that moves the sales process forward to contract acceptance

·       Sales pipeline development and tracking against sales forecasts

·       Maintaining and expanding customer relationships to further develop business opportunities

·       Designing an account strategy and approach to business development within target clients to increase sales in new and existing accounts.

·       Client account management such as resolving and following up on client service issues and handling the billing/invoicing/collection relations with clients

·       Utilizing Maximizer CRM software to track valuable and useful prospect and client information

Qualified candidates must have:

·       Ten plus years professional business experience, with proven sales track record in the consultancy/training or related sectors

·       Willingness to travel extensively throughout the region for client visits

·       Strong team orientation and ability to coordinate/liaise with internal support in a collaborative manner to manage client accounts

·       Effective time management skills and an organized system of consistent follow up with prospects and existing clients to stay current with market trends and needs

·       Exceptional communication skills: listening, negotiating, writing and delivery of effective presentations and written proposals to senior corporate leaders to ensure acceptance by client

·       Considerable market knowledge with the capability of establishing and maintaining corporate relationships with high profile clients from the target sectors in the region

·       BA/BS in business or related field required, MBA or equal highly preferred
